The principle

Each letter of a name is a gesture: a sound the mouth draws, a shape the hand traces. The language of the birds listens to these gestures — their ancient roots, their echoes in the tarot arcana, the rebus they compose when they touch — as material for reflection, never as a verdict.

How to read this dictionary

Take the letters of your first name, then of your family name: the initial gives the impulse, the first vowel colours the intimate, the final one tells how things end. Repeated letters insist; adjacent pairs form rebus.
